How to prepare for the unimaginable?  In The Black Swan, Nassim Taleb explores the world of outliers and why those who wish to succeed need adaptability as a primary skill.  Something perhaps we have forgotten – and need a powerful reminder – that survival of the fittest depends on our ability to change. Taleb explores the world of fractal randomness and explains why Mandelbrot’s original work also applies to the marketplace.  Not an easy read, but a valuable one.
