Developing Story Ideas

When doing storywork, developing the ideas you have into a workable plot can be a challenge, especially in the world of organizations. To find and develop the core idea is to also find and develop the personal and emotional connections that underpin all good stories and give them impact in the telling. Stories are the oxygen of our civilization so we must both hear and tell them in order to prosper. In your work today, count how many stories you tell. Count the positive and the negative. Are you in balance? How about your organization? This book provides both theory and practice – hands-on experience in dealing with story arcs, differences between archetypes and stereotypes, and graphing a scene for intensity. Great working tool!
